We are interested in clear pieces about rules, tactics, competition formats and equipment across sports. A strong proposal identifies the exact idea, the reader who may find it confusing and the distinct explanation your piece will offer. Evergreen subjects are a good fit; a timely angle can work when it teaches something that remains useful.
What makes a good proposal
Keep the pitch focused and explain how it differs from an obvious overview. Flag any specialist terminology, disputed interpretations or competition-specific variations the article would need to handle. Do not send a finished article unless requested, and do not include confidential material or unsupported claims.
